Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Former FC Likhopo and Bantu FC skipper, recently appointed FC RYDO assistant coach, Tlali \u2018King Cabazela\u2019 Maile says his aim is to gain experience in the A-Division while also learning from head coach Kabelo Ramolula as one of his senior coaches.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Maile thanked the FC RYDO management for giving him the opportunity, adding that he is determined to learn from Ramolula as someone who has coached him before.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am willing to learn a lot from him while also gaining A-Division coaching experience,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Maile is the former Mafeteng Stars coach, having mentored the club since 2018 as assistant to Caswell Moru. Mafeteng Stars competes in B-Division league in Mafeteng.<\/p>\n

A-Division rookies, FC RYDO, have also appointed Ramolula as their new head coach. Ramolula is the former Bantu FC, Van Rooyen United and Rovers coach.<\/p>\n

According to the statement released by the club, Ramolula will be assisted by Maile as his first assistant while the former Bantu FC midfielder T\u0161oloane Mosakeng will be his second assistant coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cFC RYDO committee have appointed Kabelo Ramolula, former Bantu FC, Vanrooyen United and Rovers coach as new head coach and will be assisted by Maile \u2013 who is a former Lesotho international, Likhopo and Bantu FC captain while second assistant coach will be T\u0161oloane Mosakeng \u2013 a former Bantu, Mabeoana, Machokha FC player,\u201d an FC RYDO statement reads in part.<\/p>\n

The statement further points that former head coach, Pitso Makhanya, will continue to serve on his role as the club president. In an interview, Makhanya said the appointment came after the club committee realized that he can no longer proceed with coaching the club and also being its president.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost importantly we considered Ramolula\u2019s experience in coaching and also his unique skills in mentoring the youngsters as our team is a youthful side,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

For his part, Ramolula commented that as the new technical team, they are determined to work hard and put the club at the right position in A-Division.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have not been given mandate as such but every team would like to be at the right position in the league, so we aim to be at least in the top four with chances of performing better than that,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He said the club has not signed any new players and that may be the challenge but was hopeful that they will overcome it as the new coaching staff. RYDO is a non-profit making organisation registered in Societies Registers in Maseru under the Societies Act of 1966.<\/p>\n

It was registered in August 2014 by its Co-founders Sechaba Michael Penane and Pitso Nelson Makhanya. RYDO focuses on various programmes such as Youth Development in Football, Life Opportunities, Life Skills Development, Academic Development as well as Youth Empowerment.<\/p>\n
