She noted that the initiative will play a key role in strengthening national planning and reducing poverty.<br \/>\nShe explained that the programme aims to strengthen the institutional framework of the Bureau of Statistics and improve coordination across the National Statistical System. It will also enhance national capacity to effectively monitor development plans and sustain progress towards national goals.<br \/>\nMs. Ramoseme further highlighted that the initiative will integrate gender-sensitive and inclusion-focused approaches into data collection, analysis and dissemination.
