Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Lesotho National Insurance Group (LNIG) handed over soccer equipment to Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) Ladies team, as a mitigating strategy for the preparation of the upcoming Council of Southern Africa Football<\/p>\n

Association (COSAFA) Women Championship tournament, scheduled for August 26th to September 04th. LNIG Managing Director Mpho Vumbukani, speaking at the handover<\/p>\n

ceremony, mentioned that they decided to give soccer equipment to LDF Ladies in order to motivate players and influence them to focus on the upcoming tournament.<\/p>\n

The COSAFA Women Championship games will take place in Durban, South Africa (SA). \u201cI am excited that LDF Management has approached us for assistance, we have a strong covenant that was made long time back.<\/p>\n

Donating soccer equipment to LDF Ladies is showing appreciation to the role of the army in the country because they are the ones who keep the peace and stability, as a<\/p>\n

results, the foreign investors find it easy to invest in such country, making insurance companies like LNIG to run efficiently,\u201d said Vumbukani. \u201cThe ongoing pandemic of Covid-19 has affected everyone as<\/p>\n

influences the players to perform well. He said the equipment will also boost the players\u2019 confidence. The LDF Commander Lieutenant General Mojalefa Letsoela expressed<\/p>\n

his excitement over the new soccer equipment from LNIG. \u201cI am glad to receive this equipment under these trying times of Covid-19 where most companies undergo<\/p>\n
