Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Tsepong Consortium Pty Ltd donated Queen Steps Memorial Hospital (QMMH) to the government Yesterday. The hospital will now be operating under the new system but with full-time staff.<\/p>\n

The move comes after a disagreement between the government and Netcare, a business that had invested heavily in the 18-year deal, was due to end in 2028.<\/p>\n

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Mr Khothatso Tshoana, said the government expected the staff to provide all the necessary support for the administration to complete its work.<\/p>\n

Tshoana ordered all of them to work hard. Tswanaana explained that all those working inside the hospital yard were expected to report for duty as usual, adding that their affairs were being considered by the government.<\/p>\n

“We are looking forward to seeing you at work and your names will be registered every time you come to work, whoever is missing will obviously have resigned.<\/p>\n

I assure you that at the end of this month you will be paid by Tsepong Consotium Pty Ltd, \u201dTshoana said in a statement to staff members who were invited to the presentation.<\/p>\n

Receiving the reins, Dr Moji explained that Mosotho would always put the Basotho first. He urged the workers to work hard, and encouraged them to work together for the good of Lesotho.<\/p>\n

“I appreciate this commission given to me and I am committed to working hard,” he said.<\/p>\n
