Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>Mokhotlong District Governor Mr Serame Linake said the end of the year had increased the rate of animal theft and the number of people crossing water lakes in the district.<\/p>\n

Linake says despite the Sani Pass opening, there are many reports of people crossing into South Africa illegally. However, he pointed out that the opening of this border is not good as there are no Corona disease testing services.<\/p>\n

He also said they were not facing a high level of animal theft that was taking place between South Africa and Lesotho. Linake pointed out that they are working hard with the Lesotho police and district links to combat the escalation of animal theft between the two countries.<\/p>\n

To overcome this, they will meet with the security forces on Wednesday this week to implement my new strategies and strategies to help solve the problem of rampant theft in the district.<\/p>\n

Continuing, Linake explained that on the South African side of the issue there is a problem with the Corona virus test, saying he is appealing to those involved to help the community by delivering such services.<\/p>\n
