Africa-Press – Lesotho. <\/strong><\/span>The Chinese Embassy in Lesotho has advised Basotho students enrolled in Chinese Universities on the prospects of their return to China as a result of the restrictions placed to combat the spread COVID-19 in the host country.<\/p>\n

In a statement released today, because of the reports of resurgence of COVID-19 cases in China, the authorities have reinforced controls and restrictions on travel and entry into China which has therefore affected the return of Lesotho students studying in China.<\/p>\n

The Embassy said as it continues to follow the issue intensely, students should be aware that restrictions in place are less likely to be relaxed soon. Students have therefore been advised that some studies will continue through online learning.<\/p>\n

Lesotho students undertaking courses in Medicine are advised to make appropriate arrangements to continue studying at their respective local universities.<\/p>\n
