Scores of traditional and indigenous leaders, headed by the Chairman of the National Traditional Council of Liberia (NTCL), Chief Zanzan Karwor, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 gathered at the famous Chiefs Compound on MacDonald Street in Monrovia to bestow honor and appreciate Liberia’s Cultural Ambassador Juli Endee for her immense and untiring contributions towards helping to sustain peace and promoting the nation’s cultural values and heritage across the globe.

The traditional leaders described Madam Endee as their “heartbeat and rescuer” who is always willing to listen and learn from the pieces of advice they continue to proffer for her good upbringing and success.

They observed that Madam Endee continues to go the extra mile by “spending her own monies” on national initiatives to prevent the spread of contagious diseases and to also bring proud to Liberia and its citizens.

“Anywhere this woman Juli Endee goes, she can make Liberia proud. When Juli Endee goes somewhere and she wins prize it’s not Juli that won it; it’s President George Weah and Liberia”.

Chief Karwor used the occasion to appeal to government to see reason to guarantee the completion of the Chiefs’ Compound in a bid to dignify indigenous leaders of the country.

For her part, Ambassador Endee expressed thanks and appreciation to President Weah for his contributions and supports towards ensuring that Liberia was fully represented at the just ended event.

“She also lauded the Liberian participants at the event for their brilliance in showcasing their skills and talents.

She noted that though the team was faced with lot of challenges, she remains hopeful that Liberia will come out with flying colors.

Madam Endee pointed out that appreciation and honoring from the traditional leaders has changed her previous plan to take a decisive decision that could have shocked Liberia and its citizens.

“For you to appreciate me with a white gown, I tell you people thanks. Everything in my heart, I let everything to go I told you about the decision that I was going to take, but you called me today and put this white gown on me, I forgive everybody and I let it go because when I was going to take that decision Liberian people were going to be shocked”.
