Africa-Press – Liberia. The LISCR FC Board Chair emphasized the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting the National County Sports Meet, one of Liberia’s premier sporting events.
Abraham Avi Zaidenberg, Board Chair of LISCR FC, has extended his congratulations to Emmanuel Flomo and Lofa County for their outstanding performance in this year’s National County Sports Meet.

Flomo was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and top scorer titles, while Lofa County claimed the football championship in a thrilling 2-1 victory over Grand Gedeh at the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex on Sunday.

Zaidenberg praised both Flomo and Lofa County for their exceptional achievements, highlighting their impressive performances throughout the tournament. “Emmanuel Flomo’s contributions were crucial to Lofa’s success, and we at LISCR are incredibly proud of his efforts,” said Zaidenberg.

“His performance exemplifies the talent that exists in Liberia, and we’re thrilled that he represents LISCR FC with pride.”

Zaidenberg also took the opportunity to commend the smooth organization of the tournament, noting that it was conducted in a peaceful and well-coordinated manner from start to finish.

“We are very proud of Emmanuel Flomo’s contribution to Lofa County’s success. We also take immense pride in being a continuous sponsor of the National County Sports Meet for the past 25 years,” he added. “Congratulations to Lofa County, and to all Liberians who participated in the tournament.”

The LISCR FC Board Chair emphasized the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting the National County Sports Meet, one of Liberia’s premier sporting events. “LISCR will continue to bring joy to passionate Liberian sports fans by supporting this important tournament,” Zaidenberg said.

While Lofa’s 2-1 victory over Grand Gedeh was the highlight of the football competition, Zaidenberg also praised Grand Gedeh for their strong performance, acknowledging their effort despite not being able to break down Lofa’s defense. He lauded both teams for their sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the tournament.

The National County Sports Meet, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, remains a key platform for young Liberian athletes to showcase their talents and inspire future generations.

This year’s tournament featured competitions in football, kickball, and basketball, with support from LISCR and other sponsors.

Zaidenberg concluded by encouraging all Liberians to embrace the spirit of unity and healthy competition that the event fosters. “The National County Sports Meet brings us together, strengthening our communities and national pride,” he said.
