Africa-Press – Liberia. The milestone follows a nationwide initiative launched by 4LifeZoe CEO, Francis Varney, three months ago, which awarded over one thousand scholarships to various government institutions.
The 4LifeZoe Vocational Training Institute has successfully graduated a group of Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) personnel who completed three months of hands-on training in technical fields including solar technology, CCTV systems, plumbing, electricity, biodigester installation, solar panel maintenance, driving, and computer literacy.
The milestone follows a nationwide initiative launched by 4LifeZoe CEO, Francis Varney, three months ago, which awarded over one thousand scholarships to various government institutions.
Of those, 150 were specifically allocated to the AFL to support skills development among service members.
The training program is part of 4LifeZoe’s broader effort to help close Liberia’s skills gap and contribute to national development by offering practical, employment-oriented education.
The institution, known as a pioneer in innovative vocational training, partners with government agencies to equip Liberians with marketable skills in high-demand sectors such as renewable energy and security technology.
According to the institute, the program also aims to ease the government’s burden in youth empowerment, reduce unemployment, and promote self-reliance.
Officials of the institute say the latest achievement highlights its commitment to supporting national priorities in education, workforce development, and sustainable growth.
The graduation ceremony for Cycle 34 is scheduled to take place on May 24 at Winners Chapel in Congo Town.
