It supports its Member States by coordinating programs in ocean science, observation and services, tsunami warnings, capacity development, and ocean literacy.

According to a release, Dr. Yorlay and Dr. Yarkpawolo are proudly representing Liberia on the global stage, ensuring that the nation remains actively engaged and visible within the international community on matters of environmental and ocean governance.

“Their participation marks a significant step forward in strengthening Liberia’s commitment to international environmental collaboration and sustainable ocean management,” the release said.
