Mr. Cummings, speaking after the induction of elected officials, urged ANC partisans to remain faithful and recognize that the party has significant work ahead, which requires sacrifice from everyone if the people of Liberia suffering is to be alleviated.

“I want to thank all my fellow partisans for your unwavering belief and commitment to the principles, mission, and vision of the ANC,” Mr. Cummings stated.

“Liberia is too rich for our people to remain poor. We need leaders capable of managing our economy,” he emphasized.

Mr. Cummings, along with other top partisan officials, expressed appreciation to the convention committee for their work in successfully conducting the event.

Mr. Cummings noted that it’s frustrating that many young university and college graduates remained unemployed, stating that he is the right person to create jobs, attract direct foreign investment, and foster an economic environment where Liberian businesses can thrive.

“All ANC partisans must be prepared to work hard to achieve this because no one will willingly give us state power; we have to earn it, work for it, and make sacrifices,” he urged.

He also extended heartfelt gratitude to ANC diaspora members who traveled from the United States to participate in the convention, noting that the party will count on their continued support.

Earlier, Patrick Younwin Moore, Chairman of the 4th National Convention of the ANC, themed “A Real Alternative for Liberia,” called on ANC partisans to embrace and recalibrate their political spirit and commitment for the transformation of both their party and the country.

“Our Constitution and laws will be respected to protect all Liberians and residents when we take over as the government,” Moore assured.
