Mr. Zaza is a distinguished Public Administration, Governance and Humanitarian Executive with more than two decades of senior-level leadership experience.
His career spans across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America, where he has consistently strengthened national institutions, advanced public sector reforms, and modernized systems in security, immigration, justice, trade, and regulation.
His track record of improving essential public services in complex and high-risk environments is widely recognized.
A seasoned humanitarian and development leader, Mr. Zaza has directed multi-sector programs, managed country offices, and led large-scale emergency responses in fragile and conflict-affected contexts including Afghanistan, Nigeria, Myanmar, Syria, Colombia, Bangladesh, Lebanon, and Liberia.
He is celebrated for his strategic leadership, organizational restructuring, program quality assurance, and effective coordination across country regional and headquarters levels.
Mr. Zaza brings extensive expertise in portfolio and grant management exceeding $20 million, ensuring compliance with donor, legal, and regulatory requirements.
His skills encompass emergency operations, institutional strengthening,
localization and partnership development, donor engagement, and enterprise risk management.
He’s Known for building high-performing teams and leading organizational change, he has represented institutions at the highest levels with governments, development partners, UN agencies, and senior stakeholders.
His career includes key leadership roles such as: Head of Mission / Officer-in-Charge – Afghanista, Deputy General Coordinator – Syria, Area Programme Manager – Nigeria, Deputy Director of Programs – Lebanon & Colombia, Project Social Specialist – Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Liberia, Social Development Specialist – National Fisheries & Aquaculture Authority, Liberia, Capacity Building Coordinator – Conservation International, Liberia.
