Africa-Press – Liberia. In a continued effort to build professional capacity and deepen technical expertise, the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) is sending four of its staff to Dehradun, India, for a specialized training on “Present and Future Automobile Fuels” at the CSIR–Indian Institute of Petroleum, under the Government of India’s ITEC Programme.

The participants include Angie Valerie Henries, Assistant Manager for Laboratory; Prince K. Teahjay and Josee Gbatu, both Laboratory Technicians; and Jeremiah B. Wilson, Field Operator in the Operations Department. The training is expected to enhance their knowledge of evolving fuel technologies and global industry standards.

Ahead of their departure, the team, along with Deputy Managing Director for Operations, Hon. Eric Ceekay Sayee, visited the Indian Embassy in Monrovia for a pre-departure orientation. The engagement provided useful guidance on the program and highlighted the value of international partnerships in advancing institutional growth.

This initiative reflects LPRC’s commitment to investing in its people and staying responsive to developments within the global petroleum sector.

We wish Angie, Prince, Josee, and Jeremiah a rewarding and successful training experience.
