Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Africa World Airline has concluded a one-day forum for its partners in Monrovia. AWA, a leading regional airline, conducted a one-day forum for travel agency managers with the aim of understanding the market and helping them improve their potential, the head of Commercial, Mr. Adedayo Olawuyi told journalists at a local hotel on Wednesday.Mr. Olawuyi said AWA as a regional carrier, it was important to conduct the forum so as to understand from their partners, travel agency owners, and operators what their key problems are and help seek ways to improve their skills as well as work closely with them for the betterment of their customers.
\nNot only that, but also to sensitize the market, get the feel, and have an opportunity to take feedback to its headquarters, Ghana on how to further improve their services.
\nThe airline used to fly five times weekly, but due to the Covid pandemic, it reduced its flight to three times weekly. However, there are plans to reverse to the five times weekly scheduled later this year.
\nThe Commercial Manager for Africa World Airline (AWA) said that Liberia has great potential and that is the reason AWA decided to operate its carrier here. Mr. Olawuyi added, despite the COVID pandemic, AWA has its presence in the country and flies a-three-time weekly flights for now.
\nAccording to him, Liberia has great potential and remains a vital place for them in West Africa. \u201cWe see the country becoming an economic hub one day. Many people are doing business here and it means a lot,\u201d he said.
\nHe said, \u201cdespite the COVD pandemic, we remain a strong partner and a strong player and will continue to take people to their destination,\u201d he said.
\nHe added, \u201c We will be celebrating our tenth anniversary in September. We remain a strong layer in West Africa. We Want to ensure to live to the vision and mission of the company\u201d.
\nAWA, he said, has an excellent relationship with other international carriers to take its passengers to their final destinations. This is what makes it unique followed by the quality of excellent services it provides to its passengers. AWA is known for its level of punctuality, which other airlines do not match.
\nAfrica World Airlines Limited (AWA) is a Ghanian airline company that was incorporated in 2010 and commenced flights in 2012. It has its head office in Airport City Accra and its main hub at Kotoka International Airport in Accra.It is the largest airline in Ghana with over 600,000 passengers transported in 2019, accounting for 68% of domestic passengers and 20% of all air passengers in the country. The airline has been consistently profitable since 2014.<\/p>\n
