Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Cephas M.M. D. Flanzamanton, a Liberian student who is pursuing master\u2019s degree in Environmental Education and Management at the Near East University in North Cyprus has completed and published a<\/p>\n

Flanzamanton\u2019s Research concludes that Climate Change (CC) has\/and is affecting Nigeria, in particular, and it has direct and indirect impacts on human health and projected that it will continue to change. The direct change of climate had dramatically huge impacts on each living organism in Nigeria, which include animals, humans, and plants. This is due to rising temperatures which increase respiratory ailments in humans and the increased frequency of storms which became the cause of serious injury, death and psychological disorder in Nigeria. In addition, the location of Nigeria is in the centre of the Upper Guinea Rainforest region along the West Coast of Africa and it suffers from heavy rainfall and changes in climate along with increases in temperature because of Global Warming (GW). So, CC and GW are serious issues for Nigeria because rainfall and changes in climate affect the agriculture sector of the country.<\/p>\n

He is also expected to publish another paper on Liberia, titled: Evaluation Of The Effects Of Urbanization On The Country\u2019s (Liberia) Natural Life From Agriculture Worker.<\/p>\n

Appreciating Bill Twehway<\/p>\n

In a brief interview with FrontPageAfrica, Flanzamaton recalled that it took him eight years to advance his education after obtaining his undergraduate degree from the African Methodist Episcopal Zion University (AMEU) due to financial constraints he faced at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt took Mr. Bill Twehway, the Managing Director of the National Port Authority, to provide me the financial space to again commence my academic pursuit but at a more prestigious height \u2013 overseas at international standard.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe article is in full dedication to Hon. Dr. Twehway. The opportunity provided by him will strengthen my resolve to educational contributions to Liberia upon my return to the motherland very soon,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
