\nThe Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill, has declared support for the representative ambition of Eugene Kollie, a senior staff of the Turkish Mining company, MNG Gold.<\/p>\n

Speaking at an acquaintance meeting with women of Suakoko and Yellequelleh Districts organized by Kollie last Saturday, McGill said he would support Kollie in 2023 to enable him \u201ccontinue with some of the laudable projects he has embarked on\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am pleased with his decision to run for the office of the representative of District Five. He is competent and committed to lead the district in a higher capacity,\u201d Minister McGill said.<\/p>\n

The minister of state described Kollie as someone \u201cwho has the district at heart\u201d evidenced by the numerous developments he has undertaken over the years. \u201cFor now, I will be supporting two persons in Bong County in 2023, namely Rep. Marvin Cole of District Three and Eugene Kollie. These individuals have won my admiration over the years, and I have no other alternative but to endorse their candidacies,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

McGill\u2019s declaration for Kollie has dealt an apparent blow to aspirants in the district, who have been banking on the minister of state\u2019s support in 2023.<\/p>\n

Kollie has been a major factor in the district since announcing his intentions to replace incumbent lawmaker Edward Karfiah, who will be relinquishing a third term bid to contest for the Senate in 2023.<\/p>\n

At Saturday program, Kollie shook Suakoko District as unprecedented mammoth crowds welcome him and McGill to the district.<\/p>\n

Kollie said he would work to continue the developments undertaken by the outgoing representative over the years. \u201cI am here to continue the developments started by Hon. Karfiah,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Kollie thank the people in Suakoko District and Yellequelleh District for coming out in such a short notice, urging the people to consider his performances over the years and a rational decision in 2023 for the betterment of the district.<\/p>\n
