Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>River Cess County Senator Wellington G. Smith has challenged students to add value to their lives by acquiring quality education.<\/p>\n

Senator Smith noted that rather than engaging in activities that will add no value to them, young Liberians should focus on their education sojourn.<\/p>\n

Speaking Wednesday, 26 October at the seventh graduation of Faith Mission Academy of the Apostolic Faith School System in Gaye Town, Old Road, he said it is unfortunate to see some youths being addicted to drugs, while others continue to strive for education thru high school.<\/p>\n

Smith noted that despite current economic constraints engulfing Liberia, some parents remained focused on supporting their children\u2019s education which is a good investment for the future.<\/p>\n

He said Liberian children should not take their education for granted, but keep pressing forward because it is the key that would transform their lives, communities, and the country at large.<\/p>\n

Also speaking, the principal of the school, J. yohyah N. Salwah, II, said Faith Mission Academy has been crowned \u201cAmbassador\u201d in quizzing competitions in Greater Monrovia.<\/p>\n

Principal Salwah disclosed that the school has produced the first Africa Best Female in Quizzing, disclosing that a former quizzing student of the school, who is currently an instructor will join another instructor and other potential Liberians to embark on a quizzing trip to Europe to represent Liberia. He noted that supporting education in Liberia is more critical now, so government and partners should invest more in education to drive national development. <\/b><\/p>\n
