Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Initial investigation into the recent burglary of APSCO building shows that the only item missing is a file containing legal documents of a current case between the company and Jungle water Incorporated.<\/p>\n

APSCO is an American Corporation organized in 2010 with its main office located in Wilmington, Delaware.<\/p>\n

The discovery was made following the inspection of APSCO\u2019s facilities. The file contains contract documents signed between the two companies. Jungle Energy Power is owned and operated by Liberia\u2019s businessman Floyd Tomah.<\/p>\n

APSCO and Jungle Energy Power has been in legal battle for a sub-electrification contract awarded to Jungle Energy Power by APSCO for the Trans-border electrification from Nimba and Bong Counties.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media Monday at APSCO office in Monrovia, the senior advisor of the company, Sherlock Mahn explained that the unknown persons broke into the offices of APSCO and made away some sensitive documents.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mahn explained that the incident has been reported to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Liberia National Police (L NP) and that the CID has launched investigation.<\/p>\n

The premises of APSCO are under the protective watch of a private Security agency, called the Wright Security Guard. However, following the incident on November 30, the management wrote to terminate the contract with APSCO. APSCO reportedly rejected the termination letter on grounds that an investigation is ongoing and until findings are concluded, it could not accept the security firms\u2019 withdrawal.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mahn expressed shock and disappointment over the act especially at a time when his company is engulfed in a legal battle with another company.<\/p>\n

He then expressed confidence in the Criminal Investigation Division for professional and those involved be brought to justice.<\/p>\n

According to him, the unknown persons forcibly opened all offices of the two-storey building and burst the drawers open. The robbers however did not remove any of the company\u2019s asserts except for documents which the company considered as \u2018sensitive\u2019.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mahn noted it is worrisome and scaring for him and his staff to have unknown men break into his offices only for someone to walk away with sensitive documents.<\/p>\n

The company provides international procurement services to U.S. Federal government, foreign governments, development agencies, and institutions in developing countries, primarily in the African Region. APSCO is an international procurement company based in the United States with a local branch in Liberia.<\/p>\n

APSCO also supplies equipment to Roberts International Airport and supplies the Monrovia City Corporation with yellow machines, dump trucks and recently completed the Ganta-Gbarnga Grid of the Trans border electrification project.<\/p>\n

APSCO management team has 30-plus years\u2019 experience providing complex logistics solutions to United Nations Peace Keeping Missions, USAID, and World Bank development projects.<\/p>\n
