Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>As the 2023 General and Presidential Election draws closer, many political pundits have said that there is no upright winner in the first round of the Presidential election but the National Youth League of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) said that President George Weah\u2019s first-round victory is a must based on his many deliverables during the first six years.<\/p>\n

\u201cCDC is taking nothing less than a first-round victory in the coming 2023 elections,\u201d Emmanuel Mulbah Johnson, the new Youth Chairman who succeeded Mayor Jefferson Koijee asserted.<\/p>\n

The new CDC Youth Chairman made the declaration during the program marking the unveiling of the new leadership at the intellectual center in the Township of West Point over the weekend.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cVoter Perception Survey conducted by development partners with opinion polls shows a massive first-round victory. We want to declare today that the CDC has won these elections and will take nothing less than a first-round victory in 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Chairman Johnson, the Liberian people are resolved to sustaining what he termed as unprecedented development and leadership exhibited by the Weah-led administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will only be going to the ballot in October for the formality. We can assure you there will be no second round. So, prepare your inauguration suit for January 2024,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n

Youth League to Hunt Officials Undermining the Weah-led Administration<\/b><\/p>\n

The CDC Youth Chairman at the event informed the public that the Youth League in a not too-distant future will be releasing the names of people they term as internal traitors.<\/p>\n

According to the CDC Youth League, some individuals are appointed by the President and are working with the opposition to undermine CDC-led the government.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo all government officials who are constantly undermining the system, very soon the Youth League will be asking you to step aside or you will be made to step aside,\u201d Johnson stressed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the coming months, the Youth League will be all out advocating for decent conditions for our people at various ministries, agencies, commissions, and concession areas. We will be standing with the marginalized and affected masses of our people,\u201d Chairman Johnson added.<\/p>\n

CDC Youth League to Launch Agriculture Program in 15 Counties <\/b><\/p>\n

The new CDC Youth League Chair who took over from the now Secretary General of CDC Jefferson Koijee further stressed that the CDC Youth League under his leadership will launch a \u201cfarm program\u201d in all the fifteen political sub-divisions of Liberia.<\/p>\n

The project named \u201cYouth in Agriculture Project\u201d will encourage many young people to participate in agricultural activities as a means of reducing poverty and food insecurity in the country, the CDC Youth Chairman says.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis project will take place in all the fifteen political sub-divisions of our country. We call on all partisans, well-wishers, and sympathizers to join the Youth League in this noteworthy endeavor,\u201d the CDC Youth Chairman asserted.<\/p>\n

CDC Youth League Wants International Community Probes into the Illegal Possession Firearm by Bodyguard of ANC\/CPP Standard Bearer Cummings at Rally.<\/p>\n

Chairman Johnson further that the Youth League is concerned and has a keen interest in knowing why the international community and partners are mute over the carrying of the illegal arm by the bodyguard of Mr. Alexander Cummings at what was said to be a peaceful rally at Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville.<\/p>\n

The Collaborating Political Parties December 17, 2022, held it peaceful rally named \u201cWe are tired\u201d.<\/p>\n

At the rally, the bodyguard of Mr. Alexander Cummings was caught with a firearm and was arrested by officers of the Liberia National Police.<\/p>\n

This, the CDC Youth Chairman Johnson says the opposition political parties are out for nothing less than chaos.<\/p>\n

Chairman Johnson said: \u201cPeople want to come to power by all unconstitutional means. We call on the international community to speak out and stop remaining silent on the national security threat Mr. Cummings and his ANC continues to exhibit.\u201d<\/p>\n
