Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>The estate of the late John Francis Marshall has dismissed the claims of the United Charities Foundation (UCF) that a lot of land in Sinkor opposite the Greenland Supermarket belongs to Madam Esther Tubman.\u201cWe, the administrators\/administratrix of the estate of the late John Francis Marshall, find these claims troubling because said property that Madam Tubman is laying claim to rightfully belongs to the estate of the late John Francis Marshall,\u201d the estate stated in a press release.<\/p>\n

According to a press release published in the Daily Observer, FrontPageAfrica and The Inquirer newspapers on Monday, May 1, 2023, by the Estate of John Francis Marshall, Godwin Marshall and Mai Thompson, administrator and administratrix of the estate, the issue at bay has sparked their interest.<\/p>\n

The United Charity Foundation, via its owner, Madam Esther Tubman, and board chair, Mr. Morley Kamara in a Daily Observer\u2019s publication on April 13, 2023, accused a government official and a private citizen of dispossessing them from their property.<\/p>\n

But the estate of John Francis Marshall said perhaps their ownership may be some place. \u201cAt no point in time, based on title deeds in our possession, have we seen or come across said properties whether adjoining by meet and bounds, longitudes and latitudes, markers and bearings, that Mr. Kamara claimed to be owned by Madam Tubman and her family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The estate stated that they find it disconcerting that Madam Tubman and her NGO is craving the intervention of the President in a private matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cMadam Tubman and her charitable organization ought to know, as all law abiding citizens should, that issues of private property ownership are handled through the courts, specifically the Civil Law Court.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this vein, we would like to caution Madam Tubman from aligning herself with unscrupulous individuals who, according to media reports, are engaged in illegal logging activities and have an unsavory character.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though the estate did not name who it described as \u201cunscrupulous individuals engaged in illegal logging,\u201d fingers have been pointed at the UCF\u2019s board chair, Morley Kamara.<\/p>\n

Morley Kamara, CEO and owner of Magna Logging Incorporated, according to the Daylight, has been accused of engaging in illegal logging in Grand Bassa County.<\/p>\n

According to the estate, Madam Tubman\u2019s alignment with \u2018unsavory\u2019 individuals to tarnish the reputation of individuals without proof could backfire if they were taken to court.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a fate we would not want to befall on Madam Tubman as the sun settles on her.\u201d<\/p>\n
