Wlue, the Minister of Transport, has clarified his political affiliation and expressed his unwavering support for the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) and President George M. Weah. Minister Wlue, who has been a member of the CDC since 2004, reaffirmed his commitment to the party and the President as they prepare for a second term in office.<\/p>\n

His clarification comes in the wake of allegations from the Secretary General of the CDC, Jefferson Koijee, publicly alleged that some senior officials within the government of engaging in double standards and working against the interests of the CDC government. Koijee specifically targeted Samuel Wlue, Minister of Transport, and Musa Dean, Minister of Justice, for their alleged misconduct.<\/p>\n

Expressing his concern, Koijee stated, \u201cYou think you can engage in double standards within our ranks. We have received information that you have been promised salaries until January. While we were tempted to confront you, our chairman advised against it. Take note that we are aware of your activities. If you are loyal to certain habits or a certain lifestyle that you cannot afford to disengage from, and as a result, work against the interests of this government, be warned that we were prepared to expose and shame you.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, addressing the allegations of double standards and undermining, Minister Wlue categorically denied any involvement in such activities. He emphasized his dedication to the CDC and clarified that he has never subscribed to any actions that would compromise the party\u2019s principles. Minister Wlue stated that his loyalty lies with the CDC and that he remains firmly supportive of President George M. Weah\u2019s vision for Liberia.<\/p>\n

While expressing his political allegiance, Minister Wlue highlighted the importance of separating politics from his duties as the Minister of Transport. He underscored the responsibility of the ministry and its administrative staff and workforce to deliver essential services without any political bias or personal gain. Minister Wlue reiterated the ministry\u2019s commitment to generating revenue for the government and praised the hard work of the employees, stakeholders, and partners involved in achieving this goal.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Minister Wlue emphasized the ministry\u2019s ongoing efforts to decentralize its services and extend its reach to other parts of the country.
