Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>badged assistant referee Joel Wonka Doe has returned to Liberia after participating in the 2023 men\u2019s under-23 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals in Morocco.Joel, who left Monrovia on 18 June, returned on 9 July after officiating three matches.<\/p>\n He was assistant referee #2 when hosts Morocco defeated Guinea 2-1 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on 24 June.<\/p>\n Joel was assistant referee #1 when the host thrashed Ghana 5-1 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on 27 June.<\/p>\n And Joel was assistant referee #2 when Egypt defeated Gabon 2-0 at the Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier on 1 July.
