Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Police in Bong County are investigating a 25-year-old man for allegedly murdering a motorcyclist.<\/p>\n Suspect James Cole, according to the police, murdered Survivor Kamara for his motorcycle and took it away.<\/p>\n Cole is said to have used a cutlass that almost beheaded Kamara as they tussled over the motorcycle.<\/p>\n According to police, Cole had earlier refused to cooperate with law enforcement officers until he was caught with the motorcycle in Negbala Town, where the incident occurred.<\/p>\n A fifteen-man coroner jury that was set up concluded in its investigation that Survivor Kamara died due to a severe cut on the back of his neck. Cole is currently in police custody.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, in Maryland County, police have charged and sent to court Calvin Saah, a 55-year-old man, for attempted murder and aggravated assault.<\/p>\n According to the police, Saah attempted to murder 21-year-old Levi Wallace, when he stabbed his victim on his left shoulder, which left him with a serious bodily injury.<\/p>\n The police added that their investigation finds that when Wallace fell to the ground, Saah still went after him again, but the victim managed to withhold the cutlass from his hand, which injured his left finger.<\/p>\n During the investigation, Saah informed investigators that the victim, Wallace, approached him to request money. However, Saah said he responded that Wallace was too young to be begging for money. In response, the victim allegedly insulted Saah, leading him to instruct Wallace to leave his premises.<\/p>\n \u201cAs Wallace was in the process of departing from Saah\u2019s property, an altercation ensued. Allegedly, Saah intentionally grabbed a cutlass and pursued Wallace, ultimately resulting in the victim sustaining a stab wound to his left arm,\u201d the police investigation finds.<\/p>\n \u201cSubsequently, Calvin Saah has acknowledged the allegations against him and has been formally charged.
