Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Match day three of the 2023\/2024 Liberia Football Association Upper Women\u2019s Division produced some interesting results for Shaita Angels, Earth Angels, Senior Female P,ro, and Ambassadors FC who all won their respective matches.Ambassador FC 2-0 Just FC<\/p>\nAmbassador FC comfortably defeated JUST FC 2-0 to earn their first victory of the season.<\/p>\n
The club finished in second position last season is seems to be ready to go all out this time.<\/p>\n
Ambassadors FC digs deeper to produce a brilliant performance to beat struggling JUST FC at the ATS.<\/p>\n
Uche Ngwaya and Agatha Martor were the goal scorers for the Ambassadors.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Just FC which gained promotion to the LFA Upper Women\u2019s Division last season is still finding it difficult to settle in the top flight.<\/p>\n
The club has suffered three straight defeats in a row since the start of the season and sits at the bottom of the table.<\/p>\n
Blanco FC 0-3 Determine Girls FC<\/p>\n
Blanco FC is yet to grab a point in three consecutive games since the start of the season.<\/p>\n
The club suffered a 3-0 defeat to the reigning champions Determine Girls FC at the Tusa Sports pitch in Gardnersville.<\/p>\n
A brace from Gambian female defender Ruggy Joff and a goal from Jennie Tisdell were enough for Determine Girls to collect all three points.<\/p>\n
Blanco FC sits second from bottom on the league table with zero points, while Determine Girls sits 4 position with 6 points with a game in hand.<\/p>\n
Senior Female Prof 2-1 Ravia Angels<\/p>\n
It was all joy at the SKD Practice Pitch on Saturday afternoon as Senior Female Professional Football grabbed their first win of the season.<\/p>\n
The party began as early as the 7th minute as Annieta Tarpeh showed up to slot home the opener for her side.<\/p>\n
Tarpeh doubled the lead for the home side in the 46th minute with her brace to ensure Coach Thery Cole\u2019s side collected all three points.<\/p>\n
The defeat, however, was the first for Rivia Angels who started the league on a good footing by winning their first two league games.<\/p>\n
Senior Female Prof has 5 points from 3 games and sits 6 on the log, while Riavia Angels sits in 5th place with a point difference between the two sides.<\/p>\n
Earth Angels FC 3- 1 Bassa Girls FC<\/p>\n
Earth Angels FC continue their impressive run in the league as they are unbeaten in their three league games this season.<\/p>\n
The club grabbed another victory with a 3-1 score line which was the second of the season over Bassa Girls FC.<\/p>\n
Soccer Ambassador 0-3 Shaita Angels FC<\/p>\n
At the Tusa Sports pitch, Shaita Angels Football Club seal an important victory to move at the top of the Upper Women\u2019s league table with 7 points from 3 league games.<\/p>\n
The club grabbed a comfortable 3-0 win over Soccer Ambassador with Miatta Morris scoring a brace coupled with a goal from Grace Keke.<\/p>\n
Stages Queens 2-0 Real Muja FC<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, Stages Queen recorded their second victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Real Muja.<\/p>\n
Janies Dunbar and Victoria Watkins were on target as coach Berto Berto\u2019s side maintained their 3rd position with 7 points from 3 league games.<\/p>\n
As for Real Muja, the club is still in search of their very first win of the season having lost one of their three games played so far.<\/p>\n
