Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Montserrado District #10, Representative Yekeh Kolubah has rejected appointment from the opposition Unity Party to serve as Co-chairman on its Montserrado Campaign Team, saying he was never consulted.<\/p>\n UP announced over the weekend that it had through its standard bearer Amb. Joseph Nyumah Boakai appointed Rep. Kolubah and Mr. Nya D. Twayen, Jr., on its campaign team.<\/p>\n But on Sunday, October 29, Rep. Kolubah vehemently rejected the appointment, saying he was not informed by executives of the party before the appointment.<\/p>\n He also demanded that Amb Boakai visit him to apologize to him for what he has been going through at the hands of alleged government operatives.<\/p>\n Rep. Yekeh said he has been overlooked by the Unity Party given all the resources he has spent to ensure a victory for the UP Leader Joseph Boakai in the run-off.<\/p>\n He also refuted claims that he is joining the CDC adding the recent trending photos of him wearing a face cap with the inscription of the CDC were only intended to mock the CDC.<\/p>\n Earlier in a issued over the weekend, Unity Party said its Standard Bearer made the appointment in consultations with the Vice Standard Bearer, Sen. Jeremiah Kpan Koung, Sen. Prince Y. Johnson of Nimba County, and the National Campaign Team\u2019s Leadership.<\/p>\n Mr. Twayen has been appointed as the Campaign Coordinator for Nimba County, while Mr. Kolubah has been appointed as the Deputy Lead on the Montserrado Campaign Team, having consulted Senator Abraham Darius Dillon.<\/p>\n The UP statement described Mr. Twayen as a valuable addition to the Rescue Mission, urging everyone on the Nimba Campaign team to kindly cooperate with him in a fight to make Mr. Weah a one-term president.<\/p>\n \u201cIn the same vein, the UP Standard Bearer having consulted with Sen. Abe Darius Dillon has appointed Hon. Yekeh Kolubah as the Deputy Lead on the Montserrado Campaign Team,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n \u201cHon. Kolubah like Hon.
