Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Deputy Finance and Development Planning Minister of Fiscal Affairs Atty. Samora P.Z. Wolokolie has been nominated as a distinguished recipient of the 11th Edition of Kensington Palace, State House, London, 2021 African Achievers Awards Colloquium.<\/p>\n

The African Achievers Awards is one of Africa\u2019s most prestigious awarding bodies, which has been rated by Forbes Magazine as one of the most prestigious award Ceremonies at Cambridge University.<\/p>\n

Minister Wolokolie\u2019s nomination comes as a result of his numerous contribution to Society, the award committee noted. The African Achievers Awards is given to individuals who achievements in public service the Committee recognizes and that Minister Wolokolie has demonstrated such in Liberia.<\/p>\n

According to the Communication send to him, the ceremony will be celebrated as a dream come true for not only Liberia, but Africa as a whole. The theme for this year\u2019s ceremony is; \u2018\u2018Initiating Diaspora,\u201d in which the committee also invite Minister Wolokolie as a Special Guest and Speaker at the 2021 African Achievers.<\/p>\n

The Awards and Colloquium are slated to take place on the 10th of December, which is an international summit and award ceremony intended to honor Achievers, to include African Leaders, Young Achievers and Communities.<\/p>\n

The Awards ceremony over the years has become established as one of the biggest, Minister Wolokolie noted; adding that the ceremony in December is also expected to bring together influential and global African Achievers on the continent.<\/p>\n

Recipients include builders to captains of Industries-whose works have had a meaningful impact on building African continent,\u201d the communication noted.<\/p>\n

Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Former African Union Chairperson will formally be presented the distinguished of the prestigious Awards.<\/p>\n

Others includes; H. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete (former President of the Republic of Tanzania), Dr. Josephine Ojiambo, Deputy Secretary-General of Commonwealth and Dr. Margaret Blick Kigozi, University Chancellor and sports woman.<\/p>\n

Currently, Madam Kigozi works as a consultant at United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and She formerly served as the Executive Director of the Uganda Investment Authority.<\/p>\n

Others enlisted for the award are the Late Rilwan Lukeman, former OPEC Secretary-General, former Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Chambers of Commerce, Walter Nzembe, the late Prof. Attah Mills Former President of Ghana, Thapelo Olopeng, Minister for Sports and Culture Botswana, Paricia Lamor, Co- Founder, Co-Founderck History Month, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, SABC South Africa, Aare Afe Babalola, SAN Founder Afe Babalola University, Kofi Annan Foundation H.E. Wycliffe A. Oparanya, Executive Governor of Kakamega, Kenya and The African Development Bank (AFDB).<\/p>\n
