Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Four days after taking over as owner of FC Kallon Liberia, Cassell Anthony Kouh says he wants to change the narrative of Liberia football by giving opportunity to talented players.<\/p>\n

Kouh a former Vice President for operations of the Liberia Football Association lost his position when he was arrested in the United States for Fraud and jailed for seven years, he got released in 2023 but it\u2019s seems his love for football has not changed.<\/p>\n

Following his return to Liberia Cassell has established a mini football Academy named after him and on Saturday he officially bought Liberia Football Association first division club FC Kallon Liberia.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the official turning over ceremony at the team\u2019s training ground, Cassell said though the team is in a difficult position on the league table he will work with the officials and players to safe the team from being relegated at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

He said at the end of the season the team name will be change to FC Fassell a team he owned before he got arrested but the team got relegated from the first division down to the second third division.<\/p>\n

When Cassell Kouh for the first time induced to the players as the new owner and president he said his Seven years of Incarceration increased his Passion and Vision for Football<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sky is not even our limit at this club, the Liberian people already had a taste of it\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c Our zeals and vision for football has increased over the years while we were incarcerated\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c All we thought about, seven years of incarceration was how Liberia can develop in soccer, because that\u2019s our passion\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c We are here to serve, we are here for Liberia to get back on the map when it comes to football and if we must do it, we will be counting on you, \u201c Kouh made the assertion Monday when he officially bought FC Kallon-Liberia.<\/p>\n
