Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Former Managing Director of the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA), Bishop John Allan Klayee has been vindicated from all allegations of financial maleficence at the Roberts International Airport. The bishop was suddenly dismissed on July 6 by President George Weah and turned over the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission for investigation.<\/p>\n

The LACC in a communication on Monday, said as per their investigation concluded into allegations of \u201cfinancial impropriety and payroll paddling\u201d involving the Bishop of the Jubilee Praise and Worships Center, \u201cthey found no criminal liability on his part as alleged while he served as airport boss at the LAA\u201d.<\/p>\n

The communication further cleared the clergyman on all allegations levied against him. \u201cThe investigation has been concluded and we are pleased to inform you that the investigation found no criminal liability on your part as alleged. Therefore, you have been cleared by the investigation on all allegations levied as in the case mentioned.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease do not hesitate to revert to the commission (LACC) should you require further information on the outcome of the investigation,\u201d the communication stated.<\/p>\n

Bishop Klayee in a response to LACC report on Monday via Facebook stated that being set free from all charges is a clear manifestation to redeem the image of God\u2019s religious community.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday marks a historic day in redeeming the image of God\u2019s religious community and owing to the fact that there are still men of moral discipline in our society and no matter where they are placed, can still serve as true ambassadors of Christ and come out clean,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

He also lauded the government through the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission for being balance in their judgment. \u201cLet me appreciate the government through the LACC for their impartial investigation that has found that I am vindicated from all criminal acts while spearheading the affairs at the Liberia Airport Authority,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to appreciate God, my wife, my church, Christian community, and those who stood by me during my dark days,\u2019 he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet me conclude by thanking President George Weah for the opportunity to have served my country as a key religious figure. I can assure him that I will continue to give my support through prayers, supplications in whichever way for him to achieve his vision and dream for the country,\u201d Bishop Klayee added.<\/p>\n
