Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Defendants and defense lawyers in the German national murder trial are expected to take the stand Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Kakata, Margibi County.<\/p>\n

Joseph Cole alias Joe Cole, Emmanuel Kollie alias Porleh and James Kollie otherwise known as Depree are standing trial for allegedly killing Juergen Schedema in an armed robbery incident in February 2020 in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.<\/p>\n

Their charges include murder, armed robbery and criminal conspiracy. The state prosecutors rested with their production of evidence today with the last witness taking the stand They have however notified court that they will produce rebuttal witnesses, if need be, in the coming days. The murder trial of Schedema, was transferred from Buchanan to Kakata after defense lawyers filed a change of trial venue motion which was granted.<\/p>\n
