Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>Former Liberia Football Association Vice President for Operation, Cassell Anthony Kouh, has termed a false and misleading allegation levied against him of being behind recent news linking Rochelle Favor Woodson to an ongoing money laundering investigation in the United States of America.<\/p>\n

Recently, news broke out in the country that the ex-Liberia Football Association Executive Committee Member linked to a scandalous deal of money laundering and her alleged involvement in a $6.5 million deal with a Nigerian National Identified as Samson Olabodo who they alleged is an accomplice to Madam Woodson.<\/p>\n

In Talk football Whatsapp chatroom, Madam Woodson pointed accusing fingers at Anthony Cassell Kuoh, the Chief Executive Officer of FC Kallon-Liberia, for being behind the allegation.<\/p>\n

Woodson alleged that Kuoh’s ulterior motive is to drag her into his web of criminal activities, a dangerous game he has been playing for years, putting not just her but also her children in harm’s way.<\/p>\n

In that regard, the Liberian businessman who recently declared his intention to contest the LFA 2026 Elective Congress for the presidency has responded to the allegation.<\/p>\n

“I am writing to address a serious matter that’s been brought to my attention. It has come to my knowledge that false and misleading information has been circulating about me (Cassell Anthony Kuoh Sr) being the Master-minder behind the story of Rochell\u2019s alleged involvement in a Business Email Compromised (BEC) scheme,” he said in a press release issued on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

He continues: “Want to assure you that this information is completely inaccurate, misleading, and disappointing.<\/p>\n

According to him, he has been a constant source of support to Rochell and her entire family. And he has been contributing to every success of her family’s lives for the last 15 years.<\/p>\n

“Secondly, I would never betray someone I consider a sister, even if I had evidence of wrongdoing. My loyalty and commitment to my family are unwavering, and I would never engage in actions that would harm or damage someone I care about,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Lastly, I am in favor of Rochell’s progress and success. I want to see her thrive and reach her full potential. Unfortunately, Rochell has chosen to spread false information about me because I disagree with her as far as the LFA presidency is concerned.<\/p>\n

The LFA presidential hopeful also used the occasion to call on Woodson to refrain from spreading false information about him and instead, focus on building positive relationships with those around her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish to clear any misconceptions or doubts that may have been raised by her against me. I appreciate your understanding and support in this matter,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
