The event, held alongside the 2024 United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), brought together key figures from the worlds of finance, governance, and philanthropy, reaffirming UBA\u2019s central role in Africa\u2019s economic transformation.<\/p>\n

The evening was hosted by Tony Elumelu, UBA\u2019s Group Chairman and visionary philanthropist, whose leadership has propelled the bank to unprecedented heights. As the chief host, Elumelu highlighted UBA\u2019s ongoing mission to empower Africa through financial inclusion and innovation.<\/p>\n

Among the esteemed guests was Queen Ma\u0301xima of the Netherlands, who serves as the UN Secretary-General\u2019s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance (UNSGSA).<\/p>\n

Her advocacy aligns with UBA\u2019s efforts to broaden access to financial services across the continent, ensuring economic opportunities reach even the most underserved communities.<\/p>\n

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai was a special guest of honor, representing Liberia\u2019s commitment to forging stronger ties with key financial institutions like UBA.<\/p>\n

President Boakai\u2019s presence underscored the bank\u2019s growing influence in Liberia and its pivotal role in the country\u2019s financial development.
