A prominent South Korean businessman and CEO of AUDUS Resource Investment Company, Park Ji Gon, has arrived in Liberia to strengthen the country\u2019s economy through a significant investment initiative.<\/p>\n

Park Ji Gon expressed his commitment to investing in Liberia\u2019s mining, construction, and agriculture sectors, with plans to further expand into other areas. He highlighted Liberia\u2019s promising future and encouraged diverse investments to drive the nation\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n

The South Korean investor emphasized that gold mining serves as a major economic driver globally, while construction fosters economic development by creating jobs and improving living standards. He also pointed out that agriculture is key to reducing poverty, raising incomes, and enhancing food security in Liberia.<\/p>\n

Park Ji Gon announced an initial investment of US $35 million in these sectors, with the potential to increase the amount for enhanced cooperation. He stressed that investing in Liberia would be one of his most significant achievements, supporting the country\u2019s economy, generating jobs for Liberians, and strengthening ties between Liberia and South Korea.<\/p>\n

In addition to the mining, construction, and agriculture sectors, Park Ji Gon revealed plans to invest in healthcare, education, and other critical sectors.<\/p>\n

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has continued to promote Liberia\u2019s open-door policy for international investors, focusing on areas such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare. He assured potential investors of Liberia\u2019s political stability and readiness to support new ventures.<\/p>\n

\u201cLiberia is open for business,\u201d said President Boakai, emphasizing the government\u2019s commitment to fostering partnerships that benefit both Liberia and its investors.<\/p>\n

During his stay, Park Ji Gon is expected to meet with key government officials, including Mines and Energy Minister Wilmont Paye and Agriculture Minister Alexander Neutah, to explore opportunities for sustainable development. He also expressed interest in Liberia\u2019s fertile land and favorable climate, which make the country ideal for further investment.<\/p>\n
