Written by Joe Gene Mulbah, an accomplished visionary architect, an entrepreneur and a project management specialist, the book is forwarded by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr.<\/p>\n

In his strong determination to showcase Liberia\u2019s tourism potential and make Liberia a touristic destination, the President\u2019s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID) has prioritized tourism as a stand-alone pillar, representing the T in ARREST.<\/p>\n

The launch of Thursday\u2019s event, taking place at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town at 5pm, comes at a time the National Tourism Authority (NTA) Bill has passed, while the setting up of the vital NTA is currently undergoing a 90-Day transition period.<\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s occasion will be graced by the President who will officially unveil the book after making special remarks expected to further highlight his keen interest in Liberia\u2019s untapped tourism sector. Other high profiled government officials and other relevant stakeholders and other local and international personalities have been invited to the launch.<\/p>\n

Published and printed by Inherito, a Liberian printing entity, the book Liberia\u2019s Untapped Gem, Tourism promises to be a must-read as the nation gears up to fully complete the establishment of the NTA in a bid to fully expose what is truly the country\u2019s untapped gem, tourism.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE AUTHOR<\/p>\n

Joe Gene Mulbah is a visionary architect, project management specialist, and entrepreneur whose life story embodies resilience, faith, and perseverance. Born on October 10, 1968, in Liberia, West Africa, Joe\u2019s journey from hardship to becoming a cornerstone of Liberia\u2019s architectural and tourism sectors is testament to his unyielding determination and belief in the power of dreams.<\/p>\n

Emerging from humble beginnings, Joe\u2019s early years were marked by adversity. He grew up in a nation plagued by instability, where he endured the challenges of limited resources and societal turmoil. Yet, his unwavering commitment to education and self-improvement led him to earn a diploma in Architecture from Liberia\u2019s prestigious Booker Washington Institute. This foundational step ignited his passion for nation-building.<\/p>\n

Joe\u2019s career began amid the chaos of Liberia\u2019s civil war, a period that tested his resolve and faith. Undeterred by the destruction around him, he envisioned a future where architecture could heal and rebuild. In 1996, at the height of post-conflict devastation, he founded Musons Group Incorporated, Liberia\u2019s premier architecture and engineering firm. Starting with little more than ambition, Joe poured his energy into reconstructing critical infrastructure-renovating government schools, offices, and health facilities reduced to rubble by war. His work not only restored physical structures but also rekindled hope in communities.<\/p>\n

Through Musons Group, Joe became a catalyst for empowerment, providing employment and training to Liberian youth in modern engineering and construction techniques. His leadership transformed the firm into a beacon of innovation, delivering landmark projects such as ultra-modern offices, residential complexes, educational institutions, and industrial facilities. Each project carried the imprint of his philosophy: greatness is born from commitment and a firm belief in possibility.<\/p>\n

Joe\u2019s thirst for knowledge propelled him to surmount academic barriers. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, complementing it with a Certification in Road Construction and Maintenance from SIDA and Liberia\u2019s Ministry of Public Works. Defying age and circumstance, he pursued higher education with relentless drive, obtaining a Master\u2019s Degree in Project Management (2020) and an MBA in Tourism (2023). His MBA thesis, Prospects and Challenges of Liberia\u2019s Tourism and Hospitality Industry, inspired the writing of this book, blending his architectural expertise with a bold vision for Liberia\u2019s economic revival through tourism.<\/p>\n

Although Joe\u2019s journey has been marked by challenging setbacks, his enduring patience and eventual triumphs reflect his steadfast faith in Liberia\u2019s potential. As a distinguished member of the Liberia Institute of Architects, he is not only a nation-builder but also a mentor, inspiring countless young Liberians to dream beyond their circumstances. Today, as a magnate in architecture, estate development, and tourism, he continues to bridge the gap between vision and reality, proving that resilience and purpose can reshape destinies.<\/p>\n

Despite the demands of his expanding career, Joe remains deeply rooted in family life, married with four loving children. His legacy is one of grit and grace. From rebuilding a war-torn nation to pioneering sustainable tourism, he stands as a living testament to the truth that even the loftiest dreams can take root in the most unforgiving soil, provided they are nurtured by courage, faith, and an indomitable will.<\/p>\n
