Africa-Press – Liberia. <\/strong><\/span>The Coalition for Democratic Change Youth League has disclosed plans to bring the remains of their late partisan Wen Sailey who died from a heart failure in the United States of America on January 25, 2022.<\/p>\n

Prior to Sailey\u2019s death, he has been one of the most influential young men within the CDC, especially in the Youth League and was also a major campaigner for the senatorial bid of Montserrado County District #5 Representative Thomas Fallah.<\/p>\n

Addressing the press Monday at CDC\u2019s party headquarters, the Chairman of the Youth of CDC Jefferson Koijee said the death of their fallen partisan is an incomparable loss to their party.<\/p>\n

Koijee called on the wife of their late partisan Caroline S.H. Sailey that the CDC is saddened to hear of the passing of Sailey who they termed as comrade compatriot cadre fighter.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaroline, like we stated, we do not make friends, we make family. We want to assure you that on behalf of His Excellency President George Weah, the Standard-bearer of this popular people\u2019s movement to rest assured that we are engaging the family. We want to assure that his (Sailey) wishes will be met in his absence. His mortal remains can be flown back home so that we can give you a befitting burial,\u201d Koijee said.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cHe chose his side, his side he demonstrated even against the popular will of societal interpretation. Comrade Sailey, we will not do you injustice. We have come to celebrate with you today.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to CDC\u2019s Youth League, Sailey, was a devoted partisan of the CDC\u2019s doctrine and was an embodiment of the Youth League with a struggle credential of commitment, party discipline, and fearlessness.<\/p>\n

Reading a press statement, the Deputy Secretary for Administration of the CDC Youth League Hassan Newland said the Youth League sees Sailey\u2019s death as a heartbreaking moment for not just the party, but the millions of young revolutionaries and militants; most especially standing and never relenting cadres who saw him as a role model.<\/p>\n

\u201cSalley, you have left an indelible mark carved in the pages or the history or this party; like martyr comrades James Gray, Papie Solo, Morris Kromah, Adu Dorley, Munah Pelham, Nanu Toby, and the rest of the fearless revolutionaries who are in martyrdom,\u201d Newland said.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cYou might be dead today, but your commitment to ensure that the ideologies of the Mighty CDC be projected will forever be remembered.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the CDC Youth League, death has not won and death will never win. \u201cThe Mighty CDC lives on; your dedication to the people\u2019s struggle lives on -the works of your hands has a resonating effect,\u201d Newland said.<\/p>\n

He added that the writings and statements in the last days of partisan Sailey portrayed that he did not fear death. Newland furthers that the absence of the late Sailey from his beloved family, especially wife Caroline, is beyond measure.<\/p>\n

\u201cSailey, the Youth League is with her through these difficult moments and will continue to be a family as always. And this family is the CDC which makes us bigger and stronger,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Newland furthers: \u201cWe will always hear you and the Little Christmases. Our brotherly consciousness can never be dampened neither will it ever be crashed; we are family even in death.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Youth League also calls on all young cadres and militants to observe the \u201cirreparable loss\u201d by placing black cloths to their homes, offices, cars as they honor a hero and a fallen revolutionary.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this light, we want to announce a four days mourning period to be observed by every Cdcian,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
