Fellajuah<\/p>\n<p>Margibi County, Liberia, April 17, 2026 \u2013 President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has responded to the ongoing expulsion proceedings involving Montserrado County District #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah, underscoring the constitutional principle of separation of powers between the Executive and the Legislature.<\/p>\n<p>The Liberian leader spoke to reporters on April 16, 2026, shortly after returning to Liberia from a successful state visit to Ethiopia. President Boakai remarked that unprecedented developments may now take place, adding that as long as life continues, events will inevitably unfold.<\/p>\n<p>Boakai distanced his office from the ongoing controversy, underscoring that matters within the Legislature remain the responsibility of lawmakers.<\/p>\n<p>His statement comes amid growing public attention surrounding the issue, with many awaiting further developments from the legislative body.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Kolubah is facing investigation over remarks made regarding the border dispute between Liberia and Guinea. His comments came against the backdrop of rising tensions over contested territory in Lofa County near the Sorlumba checkpoint area.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple reports indicate that Rep.
