Afin de ne pas impacter sur le volume d\u2019exportation de cette anne\u0301e, l\u2019application de la nouvelle mesure de l\u2019Union qui fixe les Limites maximales de re\u0301sidus (LMR) a\u0300 0,02 mg de nicotine par kilo de vanille sera de\u0301cale\u0301e apre\u0300s le mois de janvier 2024, si elle a e\u0301te\u0301 pre\u0301ce\u0301demment fixe\u0301e au 15 septembre prochain, rapporte le communique\u0301 du conseil des ministres d\u2019hier. Cette de\u0301cision intervient a\u0300 la suite d\u2019une re\u0301cente rencontre du Commissaire europe\u0301en pour la sante\u0301 et la protection des consommateurs, avec le ministre des Affaires e\u0301trange\u0300res, le ministre de l\u2019Industria\u00adli-sation, du commerce et de la consommation, et le ministre de l\u2019Agriculture et de l\u2019e\u0301levage. En effet, l\u2019UE proce\u0300de a\u0300 une re\u0301vision des LMR sur les denre\u0301es alimentaires tous les 10 ans. A\u0300 la suite de la dernie\u0300re re\u0301vision, le taux de nicotine pre\u0301sent dans la vanille est particulie\u0300rement concerne\u0301, touchant jusqu\u2019 a\u0300 60% de la production, pouvant ge\u0301ne\u0301rer d\u2019e\u0301normes pertes a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301conomie malgache. De\u0300s lors, une \u00ab task force \u00bb compose\u0301e de trois ministe\u0300res concerne\u0301s a e\u0301te\u0301 cre\u0301e\u0301e pour engager des ne\u0301go\u00adciations en profondeur avec les pays membres de l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne ayant des ambassades a\u0300 Madagascar, comme la France et l\u2019Allemagne. A\u0300 en constater les re\u0301sultats, le dialogue a alors porte\u0301 ses fruits, accordant a\u0300 la Grande i\u0302le du temps pour e\u0301couler son stock de vanille de cette anne\u0301e et de pre\u0301voir d\u2019autres actions en paralle\u0300le.<\/p>\n<p><b>Opportunite\u0301<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, selon le communique\u0301 du conseil des ministres, les diffe\u0301rentes actions qui doivent e\u0302tre entreprises a\u0300 cet e\u0301gard sont de\u0301ja\u0300 planifie\u0301es. Le groupe de travail pre\u0301pare le document de demande de tole\u0301rance a\u0300 l\u2019importation, fixant ainsi les conditions d\u2019accepter la vanille de Madagascar avec un taux de\u0301passant la limite fixe\u0301e par l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne, pour pouvoir continuer a\u0300 entrer sur le marche\u0301 europe\u0301en. Par ailleurs, le Commis\u00adsaire europe\u0301en a annonce\u0301 que ce mois-ci, chaque E\u0301tat membre de l\u2019UE aura a\u0300 nouveau l\u2019opportunite\u0301 de soumettre des modifications concernant la Limite maximale de re\u0301sidus de nicotine dans la vanille malgache. Ces modifications pourraient e\u0302tre applique\u0301es si le risque pour la sante\u0301 des consommateurs europe\u0301ens n\u2019est pas en jeu.
