Africa-Press – Madagascar. <\/strong><\/span>Le petit monde du handball malgache et la ligue d\u2019Atsinanana en particulier, est en deuil. Le pr\u00e9sident et non moins fondateur du club Hasin\u2019i Toamasina handball (HTHB) a tir\u00e9 sa r\u00e9v\u00e9rence, hier, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 75 ans dans la capitale du Betsimisaraka. En effet, apr\u00e8s avoir termin\u00e9 ses \u00e9tudes de g\u00e9nie industriel, Jeannot Ratsimaloto a consacr\u00e9 le reste de sa vie \u00e0 travailler pour le monde du sport avec son fr\u00e8re James Ratsimaloto.<\/p>\n

Les deux fr\u00e8res ont fait partie des fondateurs de ce club champion d\u2019Atsinanana en 2014. Jeannot Ratsimaloto en est devenu pr\u00e9sident en 2021. Il a laiss\u00e9 orphelin non seulement le club HTHB, mais plusieurs autres clubs.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident Jeannot a fond\u00e9 le club Horizon en 2000. Il a aussi pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 le club Tsarahofana. Il s\u2019est familiaris\u00e9 avec le handball jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019il devienne pr\u00e9sident de la ligue Atsinanana pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Il a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 le comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration entre 2016 et 2021. Le pr\u00e9sident Jeannot \u00e9tait aussi tr\u00e8s connu dans le monde du football car il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une \u00e9cole de football dans la ligue Atsinanana.<\/p>\n

Selon le t\u00e9moignage d\u2019un de ses proches, il \u00e9tait un grand athl\u00e8te et avait remport\u00e9 plusieurs m\u00e9dailles. \u00c0 sa famille et \u00e0 tous ses amis, Midi Madagasikara pr\u00e9sente ses sinc\u00e8res condol\u00e9ances.<\/p>\n
