La nouvelle sucrerie d\u2019Antanamifafy \u00e0 Mahajanga II sera bient\u00f4t op\u00e9rationnelle.<\/p>\n<p>Un essai technique concluant. C\u2019est en tout cas le constat qui s\u2019est d\u00e9gag\u00e9 de la descente sur terrain, effectu\u00e9e par une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation minist\u00e9rielle conduite sur place par le ministre Edgard Razafindravahy, ce week-end. Cette mini-sucrerie d\u2019Antanamifafy fait partie du projet d\u2019appui \u00e0 la transformation semi-industrielle de la canne \u00e0 sucre, financ\u00e9 par l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne. Un projet qui a le m\u00e9rite d\u2019impliquer les paysans dans la plantation de canne \u00e0 sucre. \u00ab Ce projet fait partie de la r\u00e9alisation du \u00ab velirano \u00bb N\u00b07 du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique sur le d\u00e9veloppement industriel \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le ministre.<\/p>\n<p>Autosuffisance<\/p>\n<p>Un projet qui cadre \u00e9galement avec l\u2019initiative de zones p\u00e9pini\u00e8res industrielles.Notons que trois petites unit\u00e9s sucri\u00e8res sont pr\u00e9vues dans ce projet. Outre Antanamifafy, deux autres mini-sucreries seront \u00e9galement install\u00e9es \u00e0 Mahatalaky, Fort-Dauphin et \u00e0 Amboasary Sud. L\u2019objectif du projet est de parvenir \u00e0 une autosuffisance de Madagascar dans la fili\u00e8re sucre. Le projet aidera \u00e9galement Madagascar \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les importations sucri\u00e8res.
