Cet officier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9mis de ses fonctions de commandant des forces d\u2019intervention de la gendarmerie nationale (FIGN) \u00e0 peine sept mois apr\u00e8s sa nomination. Il a pass\u00e9, hier, les commandements de cette unit\u00e9 \u00e0 son successeur, le colonel Noelson F\u00e9licien Randrianarivelo-Iarivony dans le cadre d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie militaire organis\u00e9e \u00e0 cette occasion dans le camp des FIGN \u00e0 Fort-Duchesne.<\/p>\n

Initiative. Mais, la d\u00e9cision de limoger le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Jaotiana n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u2019initiative du secr\u00e9taire d\u2019Etat charg\u00e9 de la gendarmerie. \u00ab Si c\u2019\u00e9tait moi qui d\u00e9cidais, je ne vous aurais pas encore limog\u00e9 de ce poste \u00bb, a affirm\u00e9 hier le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de corps d\u2019arm\u00e9e Serge Gell\u00e9 durant sa prise de parole \u00e0 Fort-Duchesne devant une assistance au visage crisp\u00e9. Le patron de la gendarmerie ne veut pas encore le d\u00e9part du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de brigade Germain Jaotiana \u00e0 la t\u00eate de cette unit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9lite. Mais il semble qu\u2019il n\u2019avait pas le choix.<\/p>\n

Soutien. \u00ab Si mes propos peuvent me co\u00fbter mon poste de SEG demain, qu\u2019il soit ainsi \u00bb, soutient-il. \u00ab Je pense vraiment ce que je dis \u00bb, mart\u00e8le-t-il en pronon\u00e7ant ses messages d\u2019\u00ab encouragement \u00bb \u00e0 Germain Jaotiana. L\u2019initiative de limoger son coll\u00e8gue de la 19\u00e8me promotion ne vient, ainsi, pas de Serge Gell\u00e9, a-t-il laiss\u00e9 entendre hier. Pourtant, tout acte de cette nature devait toujours partir de l\u2019administration avant d\u2019\u00eatre ent\u00e9rin\u00e9 au niveau du conseil des ministres. Qui aurait voulu alors la t\u00eate du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de brigade Germain Jaotiana si la d\u00e9cision de l\u2019\u00e9carter du commandement des FIGN a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise \u00e0 contre c\u0153ur par le secr\u00e9taire d\u2019Etat de la gendarmerie.<\/p>\n

Motif. Le soutien de Serge Gell\u00e9 au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Germain Jaotiana est r\u00e9el. \u00ab Vous avez \u00e9t\u00e9 irr\u00e9prochable durant votre mandat \u00bb, a affirm\u00e9 le membre du gouvernement hier \u00e0 Fort-Duchesne. Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de corps d\u2019arm\u00e9e insinue qu\u2019il n\u2019a trouv\u00e9 aucun motif valable, ni de raison fond\u00e9e, pour faire sauter le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de brigade Germain Jaotiana de Fort-Duchesne. Mais la pression serait venue d\u2019en-haut pour le d\u00e9gager de la cha\u00eene de commandement de la gendarmerie nationale.<\/p>\n

De qui \u00e9mane le coup bas? En tout cas, une telle pratique risque de mettre en p\u00e9ril l\u2019autorit\u00e9 du patron de la gendarmerie et de cr\u00e9er un sentiment de frustration au niveau des hauts responsables qui se trouvent alors expos\u00e9s au risque de perdre \u00e0 tout moment leur responsabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Long feu. Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de brigade Barijaona Germain Jaotiana a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 en novembre 2021 et vient d\u2019\u00eatre limog\u00e9 lors du Conseil des ministres de mercredi dernier. Contrairement \u00e0 ses coll\u00e8gues au sein de la hi\u00e9rarchie de la gendarmerie qui perdurent quelques ann\u00e9es \u00e0 la t\u00eate d\u2019une direction ou d\u2019un commandement, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Jaotiana, quant \u00e0 lui, n\u2019a pas fait long feu \u00e0 la t\u00eate du commandement des forces d\u2019intervention de la gendarmerie.<\/p>\n
