Africa-Press – Malawi. The area 30 and TNM Super League outfits Blue Eagles Football Club have promoted and signed an eighteen year old lethal striker Chikondi Mvula from their reserve side.
The Club’s Chairman Superintendent Alexander Ngwala confirmed the development adding that the move is success and true meaning of having a reserve side which acts as a feeder side in all clubs.
Ngwala added that the young striker will help in adding power to the current attacking force. Mvula has signed a three year deal with the Senior team after scoring twenty five (25) goals in the First Capital Bank Under 20 Lilongwe District Football League last year, 2021.
In the past week, Blue Eagles FC signed former Nyasa Big Bullets FC center back Sankhani Mkandawire on a two year deal after the expiry of his contract with Nyasa Big Bullets.
Mvula’s promotion and signing into the senior team becomes the first move by the Eagles to benefit from their reserve side after many years. Meanwhile the club is expected to release the 2022/2023 final squad next week.
