Africa-Press – Malawi. Leader of opposition,Kondwani Nankhumwa on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 condemned president Chakwera failure on justification of job creation. Accusing him of fabricating job numbers.
Nankhumwa said failure for the president to described the 900,000 job reveals the cheap lie that the president proclaimed. He said its very shameful for the president to refer to his own claims to the ministry of labour as he claims not have statics.
The opposition leader said its very unfortunate that members were barred from asking questions to the president by the cabinet ministers of the Tonse government.
He said the president has also failed to tell Malawians whether he will resign with his failure to deliver in two years. In his remarks Government spokesperson, Gospel Kazako said everyone has a right to rise in the August house.
Kazako said opposition has its own side of story to tell but as government they believed that the president has delivered well. Two lawmakers were however barred to ask questions to the president by government Chief whip and leader of the house,the likes of Mzimba North,Yeremia Chihana and member of parliament for Rumphi East Kamlepo Kalua .
