CRFA General Secretary, Bernard Chiwiriwiri Harawa, said as football governing body in the region are excited and extremely happy about the development saying they are on a right track.
He has however appealed to teams who are selling their players to Super League teams to be providing them with information so that they easily track and compile them in their data base.
“That’s what we call development, we can not talk about developing player, playing in Chipiku for decades that’s not development. We need players to play for Chipiku they move from the zone to Super league teams then National teams and Professional Football in South Africa or elsewhere this is what pleases CRFA.
Let me encourage those who are still playing in the lower league to not lose hope hence they have to continue working hard to excel with their careers,” he says.
Lastly let me applaud those Super League teams who have roped in the services of players from our leagues, that’s the way to go,it was pity to see teams scrambling for old players while regional leagues have fresh blood”, Harawa lauds joyfully.
