Africa-Press – Malawi. The Malawi Police Service has arrested three women in connection with a viral audio clip which implicates minister of Information Moses Kunkuyu in the brutal murder of Allan Wittika last month in Lilongwe.
The arrest come in the wake of a the clip which also incriminates minister of information Moses Kunkuyu, a claim police recently denied.
According to a statement signed by Peter Kalata Public Relations Officer for Malawi Police Service the three are; Mercy Chilago, Chipiliro Kalima and a police officer Susan Kachinga.
Kalaya has since indicated that the three have been charged with cyber bullying and defamation of character which are crimes under the electronic Transaction and Cyber Security Act and penal code.
They will appear before court in Blantyre.
