Musician Onesimus named ambassador for Rwandan company’s Win Big competition

Africa-Press – Malawi. A Rwandan company, London Winners, has officially named Armstrong Kalua, popularly known as Onesimus, as the brand ambassador for the newly introduced “Win Big” competition in Malawi.

Speaking at a press briefing at Bingu International Convention Center (BICC) in Lilongwe on Tuesday, the company highlighted that the initiative aims to reach many smartphone users while also creating job opportunities.

London Winners’ Public Relations Officer, Wanga Fosiko, emphasized that “Win Big” will help bridge economic gaps and foster growth in Malawi.

“The gaps might be that there are economic constraints in the country and it hinders many to participate in various competitions but with Win Big everyone can participate as it gives opportunity for participants to have 1,000 up to 3,000 kwacha only,” said Wanga.

Expressing his excitement, Onesimus described the deal as a major milestone and promised to use his skills and experience in the music industry to promote the competition.

“Am excited and this is the beginning for a new chapter and I promise to execute my duties and I will take this company as my own to reach out to many people across the country,” said Onesimus.

The K100 million deal will run for a year, while the company’s is expected to run its services for five years.

Among others, participants in the “Win Big” competition stand a chance to win amazing prizes, including, monthly Grand Prize of Mazda Demio one winner every month for six months, weekly prizes – motorbikes, television sets with decoders, and K1 million cash for six months and daily prizes of 2 bicycles and three Samsung phones.

However, winners will be announced on Zodiak Television and MBC Radio 2 respectively to create equal opportunities.
