Africa-Press – Malawi. The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has announced the suspension of Local Government Elections in Msitu Ward, located in Mchinji South Constituency.
The suspension comes in the wake of the unfortunate death of a candidate contesting in the ward.

Despite the suspension, the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections will continue as scheduled in Msitu Ward.
