Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>About 44 passengers who boarded a Morfan Bus from Blantyre to Lilongwe on Monday, March 28, 2022 escaped unhurt after the vehicle\u2019s engine allegedly caught fire at Njeleza in Ntcheu district.<\/p>\n

Ntcheu District Police Station Spokesperson Rebecca Ndiwate said that passengers\u2019 luggages have been damaged. \u201cUpon upon reaching Njeleza, the bus\u2019s engine caught fire and efforts to put it out proved futile. However, all passengers managed to disembark from the vehicle unhurt,\u201d she said. According to Ndiwate The bus was being driven by Vincent Mavutula.<\/p>\n
