Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Secretary General Glelzeder Jeffrey says the party remains united despite minor squabbles rocking the party.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey told the news conference on Saturday afternoon, April 30, 2022 that despite the party holding two rallies a weekend does not show things are rosy in DPP.<\/p>\n

She claimed that Saturday\u2019s (today) rally is clear path for tomorrow rally, Sunday. Jeffrey added that currently the party is united that rallies are respect of the party nod. She however dismissed social media report DPP Southern Region Vice President Kondwani Nankhumwa launching new party at Mg\u2019ona in Lilongwe on Sunday.<\/p>\n

DPP SG adds that Nankhumwa has been invited as guest of honor at the rally warning that the party knows everyone who is bringing confusion, \u201cWe have already reported the matter to the police\u201d.<\/p>\n

She said the party has changed the strategy of dealing with their things to confuse those that are aiming to bring the party down. DPP has been fighting in house after booted out government in June 2020 Presidential elections. Since then many members have been coming out showing interest for the party\u2019s leadership post.<\/p>\n
