Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Malawian Hip-Hop artist, Hayze Engolah has made a re-introduction with the release of his brand new single titled, \u201cKaneneni\u201d. First premiering on MBC Radio 2 FM\u2019s famous Monday night radio show \u2018Made on Monday\u2019, this comes forward as Hayze\u2019s third official installment this year following his previous releases \u201cMy Malawian Girl\u201d and \u201cLucky\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an interview, Hayze described his new song by saying: \u201cBasically, Kaneneni is a song about being unapologetic about myself\u2026 Unapologetic about my decisions that I\u2019ve made. And also, being renowned for rapping in English, it\u2019s just a song that I felt like I needed to release, I need to release more Chichewa raps or Chichewa songs, because obviously my fan base has grown over the years and I need to cater for everybody.<\/p>\n

He added that he is testing himself as an artist to do something different rather than just doing the same things that I\u2019ve been doing for years. \u201cSo, this song is just to tell the world that: If you don\u2019t like what I do, or it could mean anyone, they can relate to it like that. Because there are always people who are gonna tell you otherwise. So, let them think what they want to think and you keep on doing you\u201d.<\/p>\n
