Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>The title race is not a sprint but a marathon. It does not matter how you start but how you finish it. TNM Super League defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets have a chance to wrap up the title with two matches to spare when they face Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium this afternoon.<\/p>\n

In this afternoon\u2019s match, Bullets need just a draw to retain the title as they will open a six-point gap between them and second-placed Blue Eagles. A victory over Moyale will be a bonus for them and they will render two remaining matches useless.<\/p>\n

Bullets are on top of the table with 64 points from 27 matches, five points above Eagles, who have played a game more. However, Moyale have all what it takes to derail Bullets party this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Buoyed by their 1-0 win over Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at the same venue on Wednesday, the soldiers will be hoping to claim maximum points against Bullets.<\/p>\n

On the part of Bullets, they are coming straight from a 2-0 victory over Mighty Wakawaka Tigers at Mpira Stadium. If they lose against Moyale this afternoon, Bullets will wait for their next fixture against Karonga United at the same venue on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In the first round, Bullets beat Moyale 2-1 at Mzuzu Stadium. Bullets Coach Kalisto Pasuwa will be gunning for his fourth straight title. After the win over Tigers, Pasuwa said they are taking the remaining matches seriously.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have three matches to go but we will see what will happen,\u201d the Zimbabwean said.<\/p>\n

Pasuwa will rely on striker Babatunde Adepoju, midfielder Chimwemwe Idana, full-back Gomezgani Chirwa and play-maker Patrick Mwaungulu. Moyale Coach Pritchard Mwansa said his charges are on a serious mission.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to get maximum points against Bullets. We know it will be tough but we are ready for the battle,\u201d Mwansa said.<\/p>\n

Mwansa will welcome Maneno Nyoni who missed the match against Wanderers. Raphael Phiri, Brown Magaga and Lloyd Njaliwa are potential match winners. Action in the TNM Super League will continue tomorrow as Wanderers will host Civil Service United at Kamuzu Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Nomads are out of the title race but have a chance to finish within the paid ranks. They have 50 points from 27 matches, one point behind fourth-placed Silver Strikers, who have already played 30 matches.<\/p>\n

Civil will also want to finish the season on a high and fight for top eight position. They are on position eight with 42 points from 29 matches. Ekwendeni Hammers will face Kamuzu Barracks at Mzuzu Stadium.<\/p>\n
