Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Four suspects who are answering murder and robbery charges escaped from Mzuzu Police Station, last night November 13, 2022. Mzuzu Police Station Public Relations Officer, Paul Tembo has confirmed the matter.<\/p>\n

The police publicist however disclosed that said one of the suspects has already been recaptured and is being questioned. Tembo is therefore appealing to the general public to report to the police if they come across suspicious people in their communities.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Malawians on social media have expressed dismayed over the matter arguing that its planned plot for suspects to escape from their custody. \u201cEscaping from police station? These are the things I keep on saying that when it gets to 6pm Police hands over the cities to thieves and thugs to thrive,\u201d worried Emma Kaliya, one of the country\u2019s gender activists.<\/p>\n
